To date, our employees have carried out risk assessments for a total of 2.700.000 m² of roof area throughout Germany.
Risk assessments must be drawn up for every roof area in order to identify possible dangers and to avert or point out a danger through technical measures and rules.
What is on the roof? What are the possible dangers? Who uses the roof areas? Are there air conditioners? Is there regular maintenance work required on the roof? Are only trained fitters / craftsmen in a PPE on the roof? Are there walking routes? Are skylights fall-through safe? Is the area at risk of falling adequately secured?
These are just a few areas that make a risk assessment necessary. You as the owner / operator or facility manager are responsible.
A risk assessment is imperative, stay on the legally secure side. Protect others who have to walk on roof surfaces. But also your company and yourself!
